Which tariff should you choose?

Have a battery and willing to switch import supplier? Some higher rates require you to be the supplier's import customer.
Octopus customer without a battery? Outgoing Octopus now pays 12p/kWh, and it still has no battery requirement.
Don't want to switch? The highest open-market flat rate we found is 16p/kWh from Ecotricity. Octopus and OVO still publish lower open tariffs around 4p/kWh.
Very small kit (under 400W)? Export will be low — the difference between 3p and 4p is £2–6/year. Pick the simplest process.
