The short version

The G98 form generator runs entirely in your browser. Everything you type — name, address, MPAN, inverter details — stays on your device. It doesn't get sent to us or anyone else. No account, no database, no data stored on our end.

Data we process

  • G98 form data: Processed locally in your browser only. Never transmitted to our servers.
  • Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, cookieless. Aggregate, non-identifying — page views, country, referral source.
  • Server logs:Cloudflare may store standard request logs — IP, timestamp, URL — for security. Retained per Cloudflare's policies.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies. If we add Google AdSense in future, we'll add a consent mechanism before turning it on.

Affiliate links

Some guide page links may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This doesn't affect what we recommend — editorial policy is based on specs and user needs, not commission rates.

Third-party services

  • Cloudflare — hosting and cookieless web analytics.
  • Google AdSense — advertising, if enabled in future. May use cookies to serve ads.

We don't sell, share, or transfer your personal data to anyone else.

Data retention

Since we don't store your form data, there's nothing to retain or delete. Your G98 data stays in your browser until you close the tab. The PDF you generate is saved to your device — you control it.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Because we don't store personal data beyond aggregate analytics and server logs, most are already satisfied by design. For a specific request, email privacy@pluginsolarform.co.uk.

Children

This site is for UK homeowners. It's not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if anything changes, and bump the date at the top.
